October 2026 Newsletter

Election Day: Tuesday, November 3
Early Voting: October 19-30

Election Day is less than a month away, and early voting is just around the corner.

Across Texas, voters will decide races at every level of government – from statewide offices and the Texas Legislature to county government, the courts and local positions. Many of these races could come down to very narrow margins. Public polling shows competitive contests all across Texas. In a time like this, every race matters. And so does every vote.

The “C” Club has reviewed dozens of races this election cycle, interviewed candidates and examined their records and priorities.

Following that process, we have endorsed candidates whom we believe will stand in the gap, take principled positions and advance our mission of fiscal responsibility, economic growth and law and order. We have compiled those endorsements into an easy-to-use 2026 General Election Quick Guide.

This fall is going to come down to turnout. That is why the “C” Club is once again investing in a targeted Get Out The Vote program focused on a universe of 50,000 low-propensity fiscal conservatives. Earlier this year, we supported Fired Up To Vote, an organization working to increase voter turnout in Harris County by giving citizens the tools to activate their own personal networks. Our primary tactic will be targeted digital advertising designed to reach these voters during the closing weeks of the campaign. Our campaign will highlight the consequences of out-of-control spending in Harris County and make the case for fiscal responsibility, lower property taxes and a government that delivers more for taxpayers.

August Meeting Recap

Our August meeting featured State Representative Mano DeAyala, who represents House District 133.

Representative DeAyala is currently serving his second term in the Texas House, where he sits on the Appropriations Committee and the Culture, Recreation & Tourism Committee. Before joining the Legislature, he served on the Texas Board of Criminal Justice and as a U.S. trade arbitrator under the USMCA.

DeAyala also has deep ties to the “C” Club, serving on its executive committee from 2012 to 2021 and as Club President in 2017.
