Early In-Person Voting: May 18th to May 22nd
Election Day: May 26th
For over 60 years, voters have trusted the “C” Club’s endorsements. With early in-person voting starting next week in the Republican Runoff Election, we wanted to take a moment and highlight our endorsed candidates.
Our Endorsements
Attorney General: Mayes Middleton
Mayes Middleton is president of an independent oil and gas company, runs a ranching operation, and has served in the Texas Legislature since 2019. In Austin, Mayes Middleton has done exactly what he promised he’d do on the campaign trail. He has taken on the special interests and delivered results. And we know he’ll do the same thing as AG.
Railroad Commissioner: Jim Wright
Jim Wright began working in the energy sector at 19 years old. Later on, he founded a group of successful environmental service companies supporting oil and gas operations. As Railroad Commissioner, Wright will continue defending our energy jobs and ensure Texas remains a global leader in energy production.
Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 3: Alison Fox
Alison Fox has spent the last twenty years on the frontlines of the state’s toughest legal fights. She has served as a prosecutor, a solo practitioner, and an employee for the state’s highest criminal court. Alison Fox has earned a reputation for being tough on crime and a defender of the rule of law – exactly what we need from our judges on the bench at the Court of Criminal Appeals.
Justice, 1st Court of Appeals District, Place 3: Todd Frankfort
Todd Frankfort has spent more than three decades fighting for families in Texas courtrooms. A seasoned family law attorney and respected member of Houston’s legal community, Todd Frankfort has built a reputation for handling complex cases with skill and fairness. As Justice, Frankfort will uphold the rule of law, stop judges from trying to legislate from the bench, and prioritize public safety.
U.S. Representative, District 7: Alexander Hale
Alexander Hale is a fourth-generation Houstonian and an experienced businessman working in the energy sector. In Congress, Hale will champion small government with a focus on fiscal discipline and accountability.
U.S. Representative, District 9: Alex Mealer
Alex Mealer is a West Point graduate, combat veteran, former oil and gas finance executive, and small business owner. Mealer will put taxpayers first, rein in Washington’s wasteful spending, and lead on solving the most complex fiscal issues.
U.S. Representative, District 38: Shelly deZevallos
Shelly deZevallos is a successful businesswoman, pilot, and former Trump Administration appointee. deZevallos will bring a taxpayer-first approach to government. She believes D.C. must live within its means and has the private sector experience balancing budgets to make it happen.
State Representative, District 126: Stan Stanart
Stan Stanart spent his career on the cutting edge of electronics engineering in the aerospace and computer industries. He then used that technical expertise to modernize the Harris County Clerk’s office. Now, he’s ready to do it in Austin!
Harris County Judge: Orlando Sanchez
Orlando Sanchez is a veteran of the Air Force and Texas Air National Guard, a former Houston City Councilmember, and former Harris County Treasurer. Sanchez will fight to rein in the out-of-control spending, cut property taxes, support law enforcement, and improve flood mitigation.
Harris County Republican Party Chairman: Cindy Siegel
Cindy Siegel is a Certified Public Accountant, a small business owner, and former Mayor of Bellaire. As Chairman, Siegel has re-energized the grassroots, improved the party’s finances, and executed program after program to persuade and turnout voters. Heading into an extremely important fall election cycle, we trust Siegel to lead the party to big wins on election night.
