The Momentum Is on Our Side

The 2023-2024 election cycle was a pivotal turning point in our endeavor to promote fiscal responsibility, good governance, and public safety across Houston and Harris County. The people of Harris County have had enough and are demanding accountability from their elected officials. Throughout the cycle, we were proud to endorse and support quality candidates who shared our principles.

2023 – City of Houston Elections

Early into the cycle we identified strong, battle-tested candidates with a positive vision for Houston. John Whitmire claimed the mayor’s race while Amy Peck, Mary Nan Huffman, Julian Ramirez, Willie Davis, and Twila Carter all captured seats on the city council.

2024 – Harris Central Appraisal District Board of Directors

At the “C” Club of Houston, we believe low taxes are instrumental in ensuring Texas families have a chance to get ahead. Like so many, however, we are increasingly concerned about skyrocketing property taxes inhibiting Texans’ ability to purchase a home, or even stay in a home they have owned for years. That is why we were proud to back the victorious campaigns of Kyle Scott and Ericka McCrutcheon to the Harris Central Appraisal District Board of Directors, where they will ensure the appraisal process is fair and transparent.

2024 – Fall General Election

Last fall, we saw conservatives have success up and down the ballot in Harris County. President Trump and Senator Cruz both improved their vote shares significantly from their most recent elections. In some precincts, we saw 10-point, or greater, shifts towards “C” Club endorsed candidates from previous elections. From the appeals courts to our district judges to justice of the peace to county criminal court, our judicial candidates had a great election night.

Leading up to Election Day the “C” Club waged a massive get-out-the-vote campaign to turn out low-propensity conservatives to the polls. Our efforts helped get over 45,000 Harris County voters to cast their ballots. With the 2023-2024 election cycle in the books, the best is yet to come. This cycle, we will be more active than ever in order to capitalize on this momentum and help tilt Harris County more to the right. Stay tuned!
